Wash Suit

A suit you wear to wash yourself

This is the clothing equivalent of a bathroom, a zip-up suit fitted with inlets for fresh, temperature controlled water and strategically placed exit hoses to carry away waste including solid waste.

It is intended to be used where space and privacy might be limited, for example in a mobile home. A squeeze reservoir for liquid soap can be attached to a port. The inside is rough and may be used for brushing. And after a soap - brush - wash - rinse cycle it would dry you and itself with a blast of warm dry air.

I know I've seen something like this one in a patent list before. A person wore something looking like a giant hot-water bottle, with only their head sticking out. Doesn't make it widely baked, though.

       Or the space shuttle.

They don't use showers in the shuttle, they have sponge baths. Showers were used in Skylab but turned out to be quite messy and difficult to control.

Just don't ask about space toilets.
