Quite simple. Have an apartment built in a silo such that the floors are on the circumference and the whole thing rotates rapidly. All furniture is held in place using screws, clamps or whatever. Cushions and bedspreads are held in place with Velcro.
When you go to work in the morning, turn off
the rotor and all surfaces self clean due to gravity taking over from the centrifugal force.
The base of the silo should have a chute to a bin.
Multi story apartments can be made as long as everyone is out at the same time at least once per day and the rubbish chutes do no empty into lower apartments.
Might be useful on moon for the lazy astronaut?

Presumably entry and exit from the apartment is by motorcycle only? [+] |

Pool table, for those who like a little mild disorientation;
table tennis for the full coriolis experience. |

Why run the rotor all the time? Why not build circular rooms, live on the floor as normal and just spin up the room when you're out? |
|
|
The effect is easily simulated by placing two young cats in a smallish room. They are capable of propelling themselves around the walls without any visible contact with horizontal surfaces. All your loose items also finish up in the corners. |

//except the top surfaces// so gimball the whole building |

\\top surfaces, where all the crap from above them will fall and get stuck.\\
Rather than turning off the rotor, it should be put on an agitate setting. This would keep some of the falling crud from settling on furniture on the way down. |

It would clean the living quarters of anything left out, like bills to pay or your clean pants. All of the sticky stuff would stay stuck. |
|
|
But since there would be many other practical applications for this arrangement (eg: artifical high gravity for increased work of breathing and consequent weight loss) I give it bread. |
|
|
What if the axis of rotation was horizontal? I suppose apparent gravity would vibrate somewhat but one could get used to that. You could also have windows then, and make yourself dizzy looking out of them. |

You really have no notion of how deeply unpleasant that could be, have you, [bungs] ? |

//All surfaces except the top surface// But, with this
scheme, no surface is *always* the top surface. |
