Depictions of the Hindu God Vishnu show a figure with multiple arms (actually most of their gods have many arms)
Vishnu's Cooling Fan is an electrically powered mechanical device based on the Godly figure, that puts a paddle blade into each of the effigys hands. The arms are all angled to face forwards,
making them slightly different to those in the image.
When activated, the arms wave up and down in accord with a choreographed set of movements, calculated to provide a continuous stream of cooling air.
Paddle blades can easily be adjusted to facilitate directional control, and the God can be switched off for worshipping purposes when not being used to in cooling mode.

Sounds very nice. Don't know how much cooling
would actually happen, but it would be interesting to
see. + |

You could also do a Ganesh one, with a stream of cool air coming out of the trunk, oscillating from side to side. |
