For consumers who can't afford the expensive of a full featured 4-wall CAVE (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment), this system would use a HMD (Head Mounted Display) so that the user could see and interact with a virtual CAVE, which in turn would give the user a sense of presence in a real CAVE. The
user could see an avitar representation of himself standing in a CAVE and can see what its like to use all the CAVE software and features without being in a real CAVE.

Now you too can play at being a geek. Wonderful. |

How is this different from simply running the same simulation that you would have run in the CAVE, but with an HMD? |
