Vertiginous Girder Restaurant

For those who enjoy a very high tea.

The Vertiginous Girder Restaurant, comes in the form of a substantial "I" or "T" beam, encased in a room sized box of unbreakable glass, which is open at one end.

To install it, you simply bolt it unto the outside face of any building of suitable height, and cut an access hole to enable the hungry, but foolhardy patrons to shuffle out along its stomach churning length, in order to eat their sandwiches.

I can tell that isn't a restaurant because smoking isn't allowed in restaurants. (+)

He may look like he's smoking, but he's actually sucking a type of edible ant up a straw. It's a particular delicacy at this establishment.

Pictures like that could easily prompt an HB Caption Competition. Beware.

Or install over handy nearby Grand Canyon.

But the glass spoils it, methinks.

I like that picture; I've seen it before and wonder if it's for real. It seems so high.

I think it was commissioned by the Pikatawnee Arse Glue Company in about 1932.

Now this is a lovely idea. Big precariously placed bun.

I always thought this was one my ideas that somebody would use and now they have. See last link. Can I claim royalties?
