h a l f b a k e r yIncidentally, why isn't "spacecraft" another word for "interior design"?

Vacuum Carpets
Carpets designed to look like there are vacuum cleaner tracks in it. | |
Imagine the thrill of your typical modern men and
women
when they get complimented on the impress of their
cleanliness and they never lifted a finger. Oh, the sweet
taste of victory! I can still be a space cadet and have
dinner parties!
The idea is for carpet with carefully placed weaving
angles
and alternate fiber colors to resemble the optical effect
of
freshly vacuumed carpet at all times.
I think it could also help in clean places. I could have a
break from my OCD desire to see carpet freshly
vacuumed.
Also, children could lie to you when you tell them to
vacuum and you could catch them by spotting obvious
unvaccumed particulates on the carpet. You could scold
them for lying, which is a good lesson to learn, and you
could have a laugh about it because you designed the
whole thing with this fresh looking carpet and
those kids are pretty smart for seeing an opening.

I'm kind of surprised that this isn't already a thing. |
|
|
how about a big ol' vacuum pump to suck air (and dirt) down
through the carpet. |
|
|
when it stops working, blow the air (and dirt) the other way.
open the windows first. |

I think this is brilliant. I would buy it too! Yes, for all of us
lazy suckers. (As in vacuums, not any other meaning
whatsoever.) |

Is there an attachment to make crop circles? I'd bun for
that. |

You could lay your lawn with alternating light-dark variants
of grass so it looks well manicured, even if it's a foot tall |

Can you make it for hair? Einstein tried for years. I don't own a vacuum or a carpet, although I have a lot of hair, but are vacuums supposed to leave tracks? |

Depends if you want a clean carpet or *be seen* to have a
clean carpet. Such things are important if you have ever
been a cleaner, for example. You get less accusations of
laziness if they can physically see the evidence, even if it
loos a bit weird. |

However, this is for the domestic sloth, who wants to be
seen as having a clean carpet without actually having a
clean carpet. Which completes the set, I suppose. |
