Uber Hot or Not

In the downtown of cities Uber and Lyft are never more than a minute away. The driver who accepts your request's picture comes up on your phone. If you dont like that driver you can end the request and request again, but the services probably frown on over doing this.

So this is an idea for a third party app that overlays uber and or lyft and provides you with a hot or not interface so that you can flip through available drivers until you find one you think would be worth talking to since you are going to be in the car with them for a while. Yyou might as well be talking to someone you think you will get along with.

       I like this because the hot drivers could charge a premium, and it would encourage a general trend towards hotness among drivers.   

       It would only be fair if the driver being requested could see your picture as well; persons who were themselves hot might be charged less than the non hot. Again encouraging hotness among the riding populace.   

       But JHC, you mention the "hot or not interface" as though it were existing technology. Can you link up examples of its current uses?

       hotness, (or notness) is largely a factor that can be determined automatically nowadays, facial symetry and proportions etc (height and weight should be legally mandated data). So just set you hotness and cost threshold and let the software decide. On a busy saturday night... you may have to go ugly...

       That site that JHC linked had a cute looking person but the fact that she is looking over her shoulder would make it hard to determine symmetry it seems to me.

       Among the riding populace who ride with hot drivers, anyway. The not drivers would have lower prices, which the not riders could pay.   

       What if the not drivers charged hot riders more than not riders? That would be interesting.
