This is a USB powered heating tray specifically made to keep your nuts warm, be they cashews, pistachios, peanuts or almonds. All of which, in my opinion, taste better warm. This would be perfect for programmers or any people who munch stuff in front of the computer all day.

A little hot pad would be good for a cup of coffee too. One would use a metal cup, which normally would be bad as it would conduct away the coffee heat, but here serve to conduct heat from the pad. The cup could be used to hold nuts too, or maybe there could be a dedicated seperate metal cup so they did not get wet.

was I the only one who imagined something entirely different??

No, pirate. I, too, wish the hardware in USB ports could be heated to ensure a firm fitting upon installation. <sigh>

A nuts cooler powered by USB would be cool.
neelandan, Nov 08 2008

For some Laptops, you can just run the CPU exhaust over the nuts.

No samosa_pirate.. I too had the idea. Actually, it kind of disappointed me when it proved different.

The "Nibble on these" was the part that threw me off.
