Warm your buddy

Nothing worse than a cold turtle. May as well be a rock. The idea is to put a heat-gel jacket on top of his carapace. Thin insulating layer inside allows a slow start; thick layer on outside keeps the warmth in.

A nice hot turtle soup would warm it up.

       "Ding!" your turtle's done!

Noooo, this is to get him slowly up to peak running temp.

Visions of an athletic turtle at peak running temp, all pumped and ready to dash off at the speed of turtle.

Actually I thought this was going to be a sweater that was large enough to pull your arms/legs and maybe head into when cold.

       Snappy.

       What about mittens?

I assume it comes with a turtle neck sweater.

       Only on the ninja models.

At first I liked this, but now I'm not sure. I have a heat lamp over part of Amy's cage. He is free to wander under it or away from it, as fits his mood. He might not like to be warm at any given moment, and [FM]'s jacket doesn't give him a choice.
