TrueWorld

A world, where everything that anyone truly wishes, becomes real, and to the degree they wish it truly, is the degree to which it becomes real.

With finite resources, without having explored all possibilities, no one may know for sure if he or she wishes something truly, but this world would be such that it would know if you wish something truly or not, and would adapt to it automatically, by making what you==we truly wish come true.

The idea is to think of this to get closer to defining the optimal goal for our civilization, without which, we might end up destroyed by a potential A.I. evolution experiments described in idea of the [World Dream Forum].

No, on any number of HB grounds.

Probably if you were to include any and all of cats, bagpipes, orerries, snowglobes, cheese (superconducting and regular type), bacon, monkeys, large calibre weapons, bees, jam and banjos, in no particular order, that might help.

       Clocks, You forgot the clocks!

Actually this reminds me of the idea I posted right after 9-11 about a giant pillow that would absorb all the tears in the World.( jutta marked me for deletion.) So I'm bunning this, because I think [Mindey], has their heart in the right place.
blissmiss, Aug 31 2014

[blissmiss], ^__^ ... I hope so too! Well, and if not, I hope it would correct it.

What I'm concerned, is that many of us don't realize what we truly wish, especially in politics. Some may desire a war in a similar way that some desire a fast car, whereas their underlying desires are that of being recognized, loved and accepted...and of exploring the world together.

There may be that just because we don't recognize and embrace other cultures, they are destructive of ours in innovative ways.

       Where's that pillow? ;-(

       Social "Sciences", c. 1970 ?

Look at is this way - what should you say to someone driving a bus the wrong way down a motorway (U.S. - freeway), but with good intentions?

       Maybe "please pull over".

// Look at is this way - what should you say to someone driving a bus the wrong way down a motorway (U.S. - freeway), but with good intentions? //

"Don't slow down below fifty miles per hour."

// this world would be such that it would know if you wish something truly or not, and would adapt to it automatically, by making what you==we truly wish come true.//

The world is already this way, but all of the wish-waves create intrueference and everything comes out all wishy-washy.

//what should you say to someone driving a bus the wrong way down a motorway//

As the fact you're able to speak to them would imply your in the vehicle with them I should think "Would you mind just pulling over here so I can get out please" would be favourite.

//already this way, but all of the wish-waves create intrueference// etc.

That almost sounds like you've played White Wolf's Mage.
Skewed, Aug 31 2014

       Played?..
You wish.

...and I find your remark incredibly racist.
I'm more of a Heinz57 Wolf's Mage thankyouverymuch.

       ;P

       //You forgot the clocks! //

And the pirates ... on ice ...

And apart from the bees (which can't fly anyway), no mention of aviation.

[Mindey], please accept my apologies for the more aggressive part of my earlier post, which I have now edited out. It was late at night, and I had other things on my mind.
pertinax, Sep 01 2014

Nice idea and interesting to think about the philosophical implications of this (although what would happen if your wish was that TrueWorld refused to make your wish come true?) but too far along the Magic/WIBNI spectrum for the Halfbakery and therefore [marked-for-deletion]
hippo, Sep 01 2014

[hippo], in mathematics, we also have ideas that do not physically exist, and yet we find them very useful.

// but too far along the Magic/WIBNI spectrum for the Halfbakery and therefore [marked-for-deletion] //

I see. You have a point. We need a [World Dream Forum]! (see link)
Mindey, Sep 01 2014

//ideas that do not physically exist

Well, technically money doesn't exist, except in our own minds. Although I have a yen for it..

I love your ideas Mindey (edited) HURRAY! HALLELUJAH!
JesusHChrist, Sep 03 2014

[JesusHChrist], thank you!!! I'm shocked! >.<
Mindey, Sep 03 2014

Does not translate for me. What is he saying exactly? Confused here.
blissmiss, Sep 04 2014

[blissmiss], he starts with "HURRAY! HALLELUJAH ... ". Considering the nickname [JesusHChrist], and that he really wants the "Porno Planet idea acceptance"... I would assume the expression below that means happiness.
Mindey, Sep 04 2014

[Mindey], please re-review the help file over there on the left, under "meta". While I think you have good intentions, the intent of this site may vary from yours.
normzone, Sep 04 2014

[normzone], think it this way -- writing a definition of a goal in a set of conditions may be a solution to the problem of getting to the intermediary point between obtaining the thing described in the definition. In that sense, I think the "TrueWorld" goal description would qualify as an idea, because it would bring us an idea closer to coming up with the ideal to pursue for mankind, the need for which is detailed in the [World Dream Forum] idea (see link).

P.S., added the second paragraph to make it explicit.
