It occurred to me (while ruminating on the subject of UBD) that there's a simpler way of preventing it - the TrouserSock.

The TrouserSock is a tube of material (soft cotton, like an undershirt) wide enough to fit your torso into. The bottom end is sewn into the waist of your trousers; the top end is elasticated. You can now bend over (or sit on barstools) with impunity - if your shirt rides up, people just see the TrouserSock. You could even embroider cute messages on the appropriate area.

Even better, TrouserSocks could be made by using the leftovers from that other wondrous invention, the Tank Top.

This is pretty much Baked in terms of old-fashioned long underwear (combinations) but admittedly they can be a bit hot ....

I thought it would be a convenient, permanently attached falsey for in the front of the trousers of the unendowed gentlemen.

Of course, if you're stuffing a sock into your undies to make your unit look bigger, maybe "gentleman" isn't the best word...

I just saw a story a couple of weeks ago about a lady who's selling these for girls who don't want to display their whale tails. I can't recall the name of it but I'll see if I can drag it out.
