I guess it would have a little spout on the side of one of the arms of the trefoil. This would just be a kid's balloon, not for strength.

carnival: [Italian carnevale, from Old Italian carnelevare, Shrovetide : carne, meat (from Latin carÿ, carn-) + levare, to remove (from Latin levÇre, to raise).]

       Gross.

How are you going to make it? <edit>I like the idea though</edit>

       1. Cut both ends off a cylandrical balloon.

       2. Tie cylander in a loose knot (the trefoil).

       3. Tie ends of cylander together leaving a valve in one end.

       4. Blow up balloon making sure valve is on the inside of the trefoil.

       5. Tie string to valve.

       6. Walk around carny with lost look on your face as if you can't figure out how you got a simple thing like a balloon tied in a knot.
