Works like an iris scanner but uses taste bud location for the pattern. Your tongue never touchs the scanner it uses a camera to obtain the image. Say you get home hop out of the car grab your groceries and head for the door. You get to the door but your hands are full so you cant use the finger
print scanner. You try the iris scanner but you left your sunglasses on. No problem, just stick your tongue out at the scanner and the door pops open.

Apparently ear-prints are stable and unique. A burglar here in the UK was "sent dahn" (i.e. convicted) on the basis of an ear print he'd left at the scene of the crime. |
