How about placing sensitive electronic noses in pub/club toilet cubicles? You could set them to detect the smell of cocaine, marijuana smoke, or any drugs with an odour, and set them to lock the door if detected. Once the door was locked, a silent alarm could be triggered to the bar. Hopefully it
would put people off some of the nasty unsociable behaviour that goes on in many toilets...
...As well as spraying perfume when the room gets too smelly.

And watch business fall off to a dribble... At least if you're running the type of establishment at which this behavior is likely to be found. |

I think the fire department might have something to say about doors that lock shut when they detect smoke. |

They call them 'toilet-cubicles' over there? That's riotously funny. (Come to think of it, there _is_ more room in one of those handicapped stalls than in my office cube). |

What about the coke snorters? Shouldn't they have a flatulence, etc. detector installed in restrooms? |

And unless this is spontaneously put into worldwide use it would be useless, as [phoenix] touched upon. |
