Sometimes my partner complains of extreme cold sensitivity in her pointers. This can ruin outdoor activities and force the sufferer to wear unnecessary shirts and coats. Sure a quilted down lined bra has a certain Playboy'esk appeal but it would look strange and lumpy under a shirt. No, what she needs (she tells me) is a small cone shaped chemical warmer like an underpowered hand warmer or glove insert. This could be retained in a compartment in the bra itself or by a slightly sticky side on the pasty itself. By limiting the output a long run time should be possible. This is her idea and she thinks that it would provide comfortable relief when having a helpful set of hands there simply will not fly. Would look interesting on a thermal or IR range camera too.

It's all about making certain that she's happy, and this would help in warming one's hands as well. (+)

Wonderful idea, but while I'm doing that what's going to keep *my* pointer warm ?
FlyingToaster, Oct 31 2008

a charmingly designed knit cozy of some sort. I imagine a few patterns would be popular.

       Is it cold in here?

I thought "Toaster Pasties" would be a sort of "Pop Tarts" idea. Related to this I'm sure the need for a bra made of fleece once came up here - anyway good idea, probably.

because it's really really cold here and it would be easier and more portable than the heating pad she uses right now.

If a pliable metal is stretched does its reaction include the manufacturing of heat? If so, then the bra straps , well not the over the top straps, the around the chest clasping strap, couldn't be too have this: imagined, but unsubstantiated, pliable, metalic, springy, thingy incorporated into the bra build? So that as normal breathing heaves the chest the subsequent manufactured heat could be sent to those pointers?

As an afterthought, If memory serves me, the pointers point more at the exact same time said heated pasties would be welcomed. So the actual pointing of the pointer could in fact activate the chem-reaction. Like an on\off push button.

       mmm, fuzzy logic

This is a ' hot ' idea. Not only fun, realistic as a lady would welcome some comfort to herself while adorning be attractive too. Padded pasties in assorted subtle, suggestive, nipple types. Not unlike a hair dye, red dresses and red lipstick, nerd glasses frames,

although if the erect nipple derived from an arousal . and she is not in a place that appearance would be taboo to her sensitivities. Then a manual override to separate the heating chemicals , thus stopping the softening affects, would give some fun, comfy, versatility to how we react to social pressures. Pressures to attract!

       *bump a good idea*
