If you put white flowers in food coloring they will change color. So if you have a vase with different sections and you put different coulored food couloring in them, they will all change coulors and you will have a bouquet of bight beautiful flowers. your kids will love seeing them change coulor to.

This is an old idea - my daughter did it in her biology class. You can also split the stem and sit it in two different food dyes - you get a corresponding pattern in the flower.

I would argue that this is fairly widely known.

the idea, I imagine is for the design of the vase.

If you boil an egg for four minutes, and break it open, you'll find the stuff that usually runs out when you drop it has gone hard, and you can eat it with a knife and fork instead of having to suck it up with a thick straw.

Aaaargh! Yes, sorry, my reading was too hasty. My apologies to treetop - it's a good idea and you may have a monochrome bun from me.

What [pocmloc] said. Should be "Dye flowers." What's next, gilding lillies? (Yes, yes, I know: *painting*)

       [xenzag] Thanks, granny.
