The water in this fishbowl is horizontally circulated by a pump. The faux monkfish swim (circulate) around the bowl (required ballast and requested colo(u)ring included) providing the desired visual fishbowl effect.
The fish are equipped with a submersible pressure gauge, a waterproof speaker,
a replaceable sound-byte chip, a lithium battery, and an Alka-Seltzer® chamber.
Water slowly seeps into the chamber causing a fizz. The fish rises to the surface and lets out an entertaining jazz riff as the pressure gauge detects the (calibrated) pressure at the surface. Air is released from holes on the sides of the fish while surfaced, and water is taken in from a hole on the bottom as the fish re-submerges. Water pressure contains the new air while submerged.
Batteries and Alka-Seltzer® included. Sound-byte chips available for most musical tastes. Quite entertaining for guests. Or you can simply watch the maintenance free fish cruise around the tank and relax very therapeutic.

To contrast with Billy Bass... |

They swim around *underwater* simulating a *real* fishbowl.
They surface and descend entertaining periodically with audible segments to your liking.
And the sounds are interchangeable. You can have Britney if you want...no...wait...I want her. |

Would this work with real fish? I think real fish are prettier |

Or, if you prefer, Ace of Bass. |

Sometimes you stumble into an idea late, and reading down the annos, you can see how the whole thing has gone completely to hell. This is one of those times. |

It's happening a lot at the moment. I think we're all just happy to be together again. |

Sturgeon Mary?
No, seriously--any mention of
Thelonious is worth a bakery
item in my book. |

The whiting's on the wall, waugs. This has clearly turned into a punorama. Why don't you enter into the spirit of it all, just for the halibut?
I'd like to see Art Hakey and his Jazz Messengers.
Not to mention Count Bass-ie, Duke Eel-ington and Brill-y Holiday...or Eel-a Fitzgerald singing "Mackerel the knife"

<clutching sides>I submit!! |
|
|
I know that it's musical sacrilege but I think that this would be altogether more entertaining if each of the fish just took turns in rising to the surface and sang a verse of The Floaters 'Float On'. |

How about "The Fish" from Fragile? Or all of Chris Squire's "Fish out of Water" album? |
