The baby-namer

I think there is a need if not a market for a person who gives babies their names. There at least needs to be a name registry so some poor kid doesn't end up with the name of Dagger or Taylor ( most unisex names would be banned). The Namer would use some scientific method on arriving at the name. Whether mathematics, astrology, facial charactaristics or measurments. Maybe, a combination of these. The names would have some personal meaning instead of being named after your great great grandfather and great grandfather and grandfather and dad Wilber your name would come from you.

I thought "Lucifer Beelzebub" would be unusual names ("bringer of light", "lord of the flies", strangely appropriate for babies, no?), but my girlfriend vetoed them. She didn't like Judas either. This idea gets a fish skeleton, by the way, because it is useless.

I'm going to have to bun this. My buddy just named his first son Odin.

I've also met a young boy named "Superior."

However, I disagree with the idea of removing unisex names, and I feel that there is some need for new names.

I'll also point out that there are plenty of random name generators out there.
