If you've been on a rollercoaster, chances are you'll agree with me. The most terriffing (i cannt speull!) part of the ride is the climb up. You look down over the edge of the seat and see how high up you are, then whoosh!. What if the coaster actually stopped at the top? It would raise the freak-out factor a lot.

For how long? it's gotta come down at some point. It'd get pretty boring to be in the rear cars and as for the front car..well just enjoy the view.

Sorry, I can't see the suspense nor fun factor in just sitting around atop a rollercoaster or in this case just a coaster not a roller.

I think you misunderstand, the suspense would build up for say 10-15 sec before you plument to untold spinning and loop-de-looping

I think you misunderstand - Oblivion holds you face down over the black tunnel mouth, before allowing you to plument [sic] vertically around 150feet, about half of which is underground in an unlit tunnel. The delay is not quite 10-15 seconds, but is pretty suspenseful.

What if it stopped at the top, and had some kind of mechanim to make it tip over sideways into a trampoline 200+ ft. below?

Or if you paid an exorbanent fee at the bottom, had the roller coaster slowly raised to the top, kept in suspense for 10-15 seconds, then slowly lowered back down, where you got off, and yelled at the person under the sign that says No Refunds.
