Ever notice that when you have change from a recent purchase, you cant seem to find it all at once? Or when you get on the bus or subway, the change in your pockets falls out onto the seat? With this, that won't happen.

This small pocket within a pocket is for your spare change. You may be wondering what the difference between this and the little pcoketwatch compartments in your pants is, and the difference is simple but splendid. This has a larger size and a zipper, to assure your change doesnt fall out when you sit down. it will also be wider then the little pocketwatch things because those are so hard to get all the change out of. This will mean pockets will have to be made deeper to accomodate this and still have normal storage space, but if you do use pockets for change(Where else do you put it? Other than a real coinpurse)than I hope you like this.

But I already have a pair of trousers with this feature. I'd find you a link, but I'm absolutely useless at finding what I want with google. Especially when I'm looking for something as generic as trousers.

No.

When I was ten years old, I had a pair of pants with zipper pockets.

I looked like a raving dork.

Now, I carry a coinpurse and a Chawly Changer.

I look like a raving dork.

For the record, I'll bun any idea that keeps things in your pockets. I have one: Cinch Pocket. I always lose things. Anyway, nice idea, but the zipper will imprint the fabric when you iron the clothing. And it may be a little harder to get to with the rim of the zip blocking access to the contents.

I was recently thinking of a pocket with several nearly invisible strings with elastic lassos that could hold onto things individually. You could pull items out without having to unwrap them from the elastic, and if the item falls out, it will just dangle for a few momets before you realize how ravingly dorkish you look. Alas, I'm hesitant to post anything nowadays.

this is just stupid who uses change anyways? give it to the homeless guy.

As opposed to 'give it to the homeless guy', I'd rather buy 'The Big Issue".

This idea might already be quasi-baked. I own a pair of pants with a small inset pocket within the right thigh pocket. It is about half the width of the pocket but is open on the top. I use it for change (I assumed that is what it was for) and it works quite well in that fashion. It also has a watchpocket. I wish it was available in more pants though.

[baconbrain]... great quote on the Chawly Changer website - "a second Chawly Changer will double your coin capacity!". Strikes me the site was written by a raving dork, too.

Hey, are you calling me a raving dork?

I have this one pair of shorts, with a small pocket that's probably meant for change or other small things, it's kind of hard to get into. And to top it off, it's on the inside of my shorts. Very odd.

Uh, finrod, it's for your todger. ;-)

My swim shorts have a pocket like that, which I assume is for the key to my YMCA locker.

After visiting Britain, I realize how good this would be for all their one and two quid pieces. And all that other change.

I have some shorts with that weird inside pocket too.
