This colorful steamboat clock would feature a side-wheeler in water, behind glass. The clock face would be made up the paddle wheel, which is actually three, concentric, moving paddle wheels. Each wheel would have only one spoke as the hand for that unit of time.
Water would trickle from a hole
in front of each wheel to cause it to turn at the proper time. Especially the second hand wheel would cause swell ripples as it turned. An hourly steam whistle could be optional.
