Begins using it on this lab assistant while she sleeps. It's a funny tool. The patient does not remember any dreams that are recorded, and as long as the recorder is on, the patient cannot wake up. She stops remembering her dreams, and the more he records them, the more often he shows up in them, until
he is so involved with watching these movies of her dreams that he starts dreaming about her same dreams... Continuations.
They fall in love.
He finds out that her dreams are now continuing off of his continuations, and everything gets really freaked out at that point, because she's not supposed to remember, she shouldn't be able to perform continuations.
She dreams about killing him.
He asks her to use the dreamcatcher on him. He watches the movie, without her of course, and he sees the same dream.
Then he finds out that she's been recording his dreams, the whole time, and was doing weird things that controlled the dreams... or was that a dream? Confusion, suspicion, one final scene where they fight. He dies, and the movie fades with her dragging his body into the meat freezer, where there are, like, ten other bodies.
Mad scientist succumbs to own experiment

The dream within a dream thing has been done to death. As has the sting in the tail. Movies about mad scientists generally only work when it the pretty young lab assistant that is in danger, not the mad scientist. |

Yeah, I kinda want to add some quantum twist where their dreams are superimposed or some shit. It's there, anyway, but I didn't really explain it in the post. |

After reading this from [DrCurry], I started laughing. Then put in a bun. |

Ah, but during the movie, you think that it's the pretty young assistant that's in danger. Then there's the twist! |
