Basically a non-codex version of Loeb Classical Library, parallel columns of the original ancient Greek and a modern English translation, printed in columns on long continuous paper rolls. One roll per "book" of each ancient work. Labels on the end of each roll so you can stack them on the bookshelf.

Take two copies an existing book. Slice of the bindings. Glue pages in sequence on a roll of paper.
Sell the book on eBay. |

Ridiculously easy to implement. Even at the personal level, you can buy paper in rolls, with or without pin-feed holes, so any old printer could handle it. For a one-off you'd want a plotter-printer. |

Portable versions would come in "Pringles cans", the outside of which would sport the cover-art. Much more robust than a book. |
