On a slow summers workday
At a desk bound for nowhere
I met up with a 'baker
We were both to tired to work
So we took turns a-typing
Sending anno's into darkness
The comments got us thinking
And he sent me a response
He typed, son, I've made a lifetime
Out of
reading peoples anno's
Knowing how their minds worked
By the way they comment-ed
So if you don't mind my anno'
I can see you're out of 'baking
For a glimpse of your postings
I'll give you some advice
So I sent a list of hyperlinks
And he looked at all my postings
Then he sent an anno' back
And asked if I would mind
And the screen got deathly quiet
And his anno's came back slowly
Said, if you're gonna be a 'baker
You gotta learn to halfbake right
You got to know when to bun 'em
Know when to bone 'em
Know when to anno' back
Know when to wait
You never count your croissants
When you're posting at the 'bak'ry
There'll be time enough for counting
When halfbakings done
Ev'ry 'baker knows
The the secret to good posting
Is knowing when to post halfbakes
And knowing when to stop
'Cause ev'ry posts a bunner
And ev'ry post's a boner
And the best that you can hope for
Is to get no MFDs
So when he'd finished typing
He sat back from his keyboard
Logged off the 'bakery
And shut down his PC
And somewhere in the future
His profile was deleted
But in his final post I found
A halfbake I could keep
You got to know when to bun 'em
Know when to bone 'em
Know when to anno' back
Know when to wait
You never count your croissants
When you're posting at the 'bak'ry
There'll be time enough for counting
When halfbakings done
You got to know when to bun 'em
Know when to bone 'em
Know when to anno' back
Know when to wait
You never count your croissants
When you're posting at the 'bak'ry
There'll be time enough for counting
When halfbakings done
