Taco Pins

Don't you hate floppy burritos?

Eating a taco or a burrito prepared by oneself can be very frustrating. Taco guts tend to spill out onto one's plate, and one feels very silly eating taco bits off of one's plate with a fork.

WE NEED A SOLUTION

Hey, here's a thought: Edible Taco Pins, made from sharp bits of hard taco shells. Just pin the end of the taco you're not eating from shut, and enjoy your taco without having to worry about taco guts. NOTE: The Taco Pin is only to be used on soft tortillas-the hard ones would shatter with a Taco Pin.

This would be heresy. Perhaps you're Americanizing the tortilla by overstuffing it. ¡Bienvenido a la instrucciones de la taco tradicional! If using corn tortillas, lay two tortillas down, cover with foodstuffs. What falls out of primero taco lands on el segundo.

There is an easy way out of this. Fold the bottom of the burrito up at about a fifth of the way up when it is still flat, then when you roll it it will be perfectly sealed.

I know that, but whenever I try that, it just falls out. I guess I'm just taco-impaired.

Edible food staplers/tape - how many times have we done this now?

Way more than twice - I guess the other ones were taken out back and shot.

My theory is that the taco was invented by a napkin manufacturer.

Too funny - my wife and I were talking about the taco pin last night, and all the advertising fun you could have with it.

But as always, a search here shows prior art. I don't care, I'm going to build a proof-of-concept.
