Tablet Overclocking pan pipe case

Mold pan pipes into a tablet case to cool the tablet

Modern handheld electronics can get awful hot with all that touch screen, wireless, GPS, etc. going on inside. Those thick cases to keep them from shatttering don't help much either, especially if you've got it plugged in so you can keep playing all day.

What's a dedicated gamer to do?

Design a better case.

Clearly, what we need are a series of open-ended tubes on the back, and possibly side of the case,so that airflow can cool down the tablet. But, should they just be tubes? Obviously not: that's not much fun.

So, we get a series of graduated tubes, and thereby, we can use the back of our tablet as a set of pan pipes, and toot out a merry melody when the tablet gets hot.

Later, I'll work on a track-mounted robot, to do the blowing part for you, so it can pan pipe along to your iTunes collection.

       // hollow tubes //

       All tubes are, by their very nature, hollow. A tube that is not hollow is called a "rod".

       // a set of pan piles //

       That sounds incredibly painful, being that Pan was half man, half goat (allegedly). We were also - up to this time - mercifully unaware that they came in sets.

       // toot out a merry melody //

       Presumably a vegetarian diet is required for this ... and it's not going to be very merry, what with the piles and all.

       Errors duly noted, and mostly corrected.

       [+] Use high-temperature electronics and the pipes could be steam driven: a calAppleiope.
