It's been proven that happier, calmer, relaxed people get well sooner -

Idea: Infuse the thread that doctors use to stitch up wounds (or the butterfly patches some use nowadays) with a concoction of relaxant, antidepressants, antibiotics, pain killer, a pleasant smelling substance, and print happy pictures (things like cats and dogs) on the surrounding bandages.

Annotation:

admittedly this idea is not particularly well written and the pun title does make the reader wonder which came first, the idea or the title. However, bioresorbable suture with an infused pharamceutical agent is a good idea (although fairly well known).

parmenides - It's a good idea, and a perfect example of "a naturally occurring pun", similar to the one I found growing like a mushroom on the side of a log when I was out running this morning +

Although I like the idea, this could easily turn into a new form of recreational drug-use. People will start imbuing threads with cocaine and ice & the like. You'd go up to the local druggy and ask for half a metre of white cotton, or 12 inches of herbed twine. Needles would still be used, though.

       None-the-less, I like the idea. [+]

Perhaps my renaming this changes peoples view of whether it's a pun. The kama sutra topiary garden posting set me off on the idea, but it was still just an idea that stuck in my mind.

Apparently moderately warmed, according to [xaviergisz]'s link. At least someone else thought it was a good idea, too,

[Pa've]: Medical research labs use superglue on rat and mouse pups used for experimentation, because their skin is too thin and weak to take sutures. Mother also tends to eat the sutures, reopening the wounds, hurting the pups, and leaving less-than-optimal conditions for research.

Alot of the ideas on this site are combinations of one thing or another. Here, you appeared to have combined positive thinking and pharmaceuticals. Well done.
