A compact, portable tent that is inflated with a compressed air canister like emergency rafts (and thus can also act as a raft). They air filled walls will also insulate the tent from high or low temperatures. Inside is a small cache of suvival gear. Knife, matches, radio, rope, compass, freeze dried
food, and water purifcation tablets. Also fishing tackle and maybe a sling or bola for hunting. And most imporatantly, a towel.

I don't have a link, but somebody was working on a prototype. I think he spent ten days lost at sea in some kind of raft, and had no means to control his direction. |

Out of frustration he began doing the design work after he was rescued. He was working on shelter, flotation, and steering all in one small package. I don't know where it's at now. |
