A service designed to provide highly accurate speed trap warnings based on a satellite radar/laser detection system implemented through a Low Earth Orbit geosynchronus sattelite network. It would combine ultra sensitive passive detection of Ka and X band police radar along with laser radiation detectors. Coupled with GPS postioning data, this could be a very accurate service with few flase alarms and great warning lead time.

Doesn't detect the radar signals (as that is still illegal in Aus), but does provide a moving warning through gps data and a detection database. [reap, Oct 04 2004]

Whole load of 'em here http://www.pocketgp...enu_speedcamera.php
