HAPPY BERTHDAY DADDY scrawled over the steamed-up mirror in fingertip-thick lines was the first thing I saw as I stepped out of the shower, and it gave me an idea for personal, tactile communications. All that is needed is a glass surface, a small mist generator and maybe an oily-tipped stylus:
On
the subway a woman breathes hard on the mirror of her compact to scribble down the URL from an advertisement. A paged vapor sprayer activates in a cubicle, revealing a romantic declaration on the terminal screen. A man driving home from work is bothered when one side of his glasses is suddenly fogged over by a tiny, timer steamer to display a shopping list. The intertwined teenagers pause in mid-kiss on discovering the curfew reminder seemingly wiped into the droplets on the inside of the windshield.

I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll give you a bun. Neat. |

Happy belated berthday, [FJ]! You're getting older and better! |

Croissant for being old, where I am not. |

Not sure that this is practical, or has any point, but it's definitely possible, more or less original, and the examples are pretty funny. |

You may have to add specialized methods to remove the oils though, otherwise it would have only limited uses. |
