“HAPPY BERTHDAY DADDY” scrawled over the steamed-up mirror in fingertip-thick lines was the first thing I saw as I stepped out of the shower, and it gave me an idea for personal, tactile communications. All that is needed is a glass surface, a small mist generator and maybe an oily-tipped stylus:

On the subway a woman breathes hard on the mirror of her compact to scribble down the URL from an advertisement.
A paged vapor sprayer activates in a cubicle, revealing a romantic declaration on the terminal screen.
A man driving home from work is bothered when one side of his glasses is suddenly fogged over by a tiny, timer steamer to display a shopping list.
The intertwined teenagers pause in mid-kiss on discovering the curfew reminder seemingly wiped into the droplets on the inside of the windshield.

I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll give you a bun. Neat.

Not sure that this is practical, or has any point, but it's definitely possible, more or less original, and the examples are pretty funny.

You may have to add specialized methods to remove the oils though, otherwise it would have only limited uses.
