A small fire is lit benath your baby's crib. As he or she drifts off to sleep, a steam powered device, gently rocks the cradle in a slow gentle motion, with the intermittent sounds of crackling.

i was trying to work this in as a bacon powered crib, for the title - the ham that rocks the cradle, but it just seemed tasteless.

oh I don't know. ham, mmmmmmmmm.

hope this baby doesn't get overheated.

       Two words: Boiler explosion.

       Two more words: Fish bone.
Guncrazy, Dec 18 2004

...and two more words, [guncrazy] - highly unlikely. I'm not sure this is a good idea, but with the power you'd need, there would be absolutely no risk of boiler explosion.

Nothing goes together better than cradles, babies, fire, and scalding hot steam!

I usually prefer rotisserrie, although I may pass on the drippings from this one.
