Spring loaded landmines

Spring loaded land mines use a small detonation to engage a large spring that would fling enemies high enough into the air that the landing would kill them.

Later on when the war is over, you don't feel to guilty killing soccer kids. Minesweepers come in with parachutes and dismantle your whole field. You could even charge spectators and recover some of your war expense funds.

Is that the best anno you can manage?

I'd imagine the soccer kids would quickly invent a new sport, especially if they could wrest the parachutes away from those mimesweepers.

[21Quest] in all fairness, all I said was that the world doesn't need any more landmine technology. I made no mention of the category, nor if this was new or not.
