well, it makes sense that if you cut a circular pizza into triangles, you will hold the dry crust and eat the pointy end, rather than hold the greasy pointy end and attempt to eat the wide crust side. do 1.6% of people really do this or something else? |

I wasn't really in to this idea until I realized that this slicing presents an interesting presentation option. |

Visualize a pan, cut the same way as the proposed pizza. Now, lift the center of the pan maybe 8 or 10 inches while holding the outermost portion of the spiral flat to the table. Affix to a support mechanism to hold the pan in this shape. Serve the pizza on this tapered screw form. (It's way beyond my current artistic abilities to illustrate this). I can see this presentation being used in one of those pseudo-pizza places like California Pizza Kitchen. |

Of course the spiral pizza will have to be cut across the spiral to make individual pieces. Tearing pizza doesn't work too well in my experience. |

I like the idea, but I don't think it will work out. It's hard enough to get the people at the Pizza Parlor to cut the pizza all of the way through when they are cutting triangles. With something this comlicated you'd be lucky if it was cut at all. + For the idea though. After a while, regular old pizza starts to get boring. |

This is OK as long as you're told in advance it's gonna be spiraled. Otherwise it's as shocking as finding it cut into those little squares. |

I baked this when I worked at a pizza place. When F&F would order pizza, I'd cut it into spirals, cocentric circles, parallel strips (on a round pizza), etc. |
