Spinning Tops Bike

 Two spinning tops in the place of wheels.

This bicycle starts off on a raised platform elevated a suitable distance above the smooth textured ground. The rider spins the pedals between the two juxtaposed tops that rotates them on the spot in the divots that hold the bike stationary. His facial expression is that of a judged man on the gallows.

When the traps open on the platform the bike and rider fall earthwards. When the tips of the tops strike the ground they jump and skip as someone in the distance yells something about the floor of the gymnasium. The rider, hardly fighting to maintain balance on this finely bodged together machine, shifts his weight while pedalling to influence directionality.

One's not enough to like.
So I'll spin two together
and ride them for a bike. (+)		   

       Wait...if these two tops are counter spinning then each will precess in opposite directions.
Anyway the rider leans will just cause it to turn in place.		   

       A uni-spindle might work. Also, no need for all the platformation. Just ensure that the top has a small spike in the middle (or a foot which does not spin with the disc). Have the underside of the top shallowly hemispherical, so that leaning more or less puts it in contact with the ground at a greater or lesser radius from the neutral centre-point.
