This probably counts as a WTCTTISITMWIBNIIWR?, but I'm suprised it hasn't been posted before. A 5 inch plastic sphere with a mechanically rotating bar of 480 minature RGB LEDs hooked up to a scan converter. The bar scans horizontally while the LEDs display the picture vertically. Perfect decor for a medieval place.

       OK, believe it or not, this is baked... Am looking for the link now, but have defintely seen something similar in a catalogue from the people who make those huge video screens you see at concerts. Only theirs was cooler by virtue of being ten foot tall.   

       Added link, but that wasn't actually what I was thinking of...
