Picture an amorphous sculpture in a central courtyard made entirely from clear, flexible rubber tubing on a movable track system.
The tubes all connect to a central water supply in the base and have misting jets at intervals along their lengths.
Every hour on the hour the entire sculpture
has been remotely reconfigured and the valves are opened.
Suddenly, as sunlight strikes spray hundreds of interlinking rainbows appear to the observers standing in the designated viewing areas, and the multi-colored outline of this hours geodesic masterpiece is revealed in all its iridescent splendor to the camera clicking congregation.
Hidden, strategically placed, floodlights simulate sunlight on cloudy days and for night viewing.
If I have my say, all proceeds from the wishing well at the sculptures base will go to the Make A Wish Foundation.

I like this one. Makes me all misty just thinking about it. + |

Can you capture a rainbow on film? I thought it was like photographing stars - which need long exposure because of their faintness - except that you can't really do long exposures during the daytime...? |
