Solar powered christmas lights

Outdoor Christmas lights could be solar powered. Unlike the solar malibu lights, each one does not need a separate solar cell. There could be one at one end of the string. The solar cell could be large, heavy, and flexible so you could set it on the roof and it would stay there unless the wind was very strong. In snowy climates the solar cell would have to be mounted vertically on a wall to keep from being covered.
