Little, Velcro-covered pillows about 4" or 6" on a side. Easy to play with, has limitless constructs, non-injuring and can't be swallowed by baby.

My preference would be to have three 'male' and three 'female' faces on each cube (both in 'U' shapes) but any combination is possible. Since the pillow version won't work well taller structures, the pre-school version could be a padded plastic block for greater structural integrity.

       I'm just trying to figure out whose faces we are going to put on the pillows.   

       Could we also do something about linclon logs? They are a pain to get out of the throats that they lodge so well in.
