Smartphone Panic PIN

Uses AI, of course.

Smartphones with multiple user profiles have been around for well over a decade at this point. This security feature would create, spontaneously, a completely bogus user profile if the panic PIN is entered or, if biometrics are enabled, you blink SOS during a face unlock attempt, using AI to populate the call log and message log with randomly generated numbers and innocuous message conversations using a predetermined personality profile.

Don't know about other places, but mobile phone theft is at epidemic levels in the UK. The majority of them are snatched by motorised bike riders during usage. This means they are grabbing an unlocked phone. What's clearly needed is some kind of second, independent device that can instantly brick the stolen phone, rendering it useless. The biggest scam occurs when a phone and bank card are stolen together from a gym locker. People have had their bank accounts emptied with these two items in the thief's possession. Listen to link if you can..... BBC radio 4 programme which details how the scam works.

The idea here wasn't about theft, per se, but about being coerced into unlocking one's phone by law enforcement or an overly controlling significant other.

Google was recently able to lock my phone without anything but the operating system on it remotely from my Google account. It allowed the recovery of the device.
