Like trouble, or hell, or into a really big pothole, or a speed trap, or a traffic jam. But they like to direct you right into the thick of it, due to mischievious programming.

there's one in a story here... [Eugene, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

I think the name was an accident. http://www.mdmunici...=accident&page=home
But I still based my first play in this town. [k_sra, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

Here is an example! http://www.tardsite.com/creamed.htm

Could you provide some more information... like what they are, what they do, how they work, etc?

Do they kiss on the first date?

Build a ramp that leads cars right off the middle of a bridge, 100 feet up in the air. Next to it, put up a street sign saying, "Rt. 100 Northbound. Express Route" and watch as car after car plummets to their death. Ha!
phundug, Jul 23 2003

I pass one of these every morning on the M61 into Manchester. It cheerfully warns 'Queue Ahead' when I've been in said queue for a the last 3 miles.

[phundog] There's a ramp like that in the centre of Salisbury (UK). Atfer a few years of non-use it was truned into a car-park.
oneoffdave, Jul 23 2003

Oh I was hoping this would be like a street sign that appears just after the danger with a message like "Oops didn't see that bump, did you?" or "Mind the... oh dear, too late".
lubbit, Jul 23 2003

I don't know where Trouble is, but it might be close to Accident.
k_sra, Jul 23 2003

I like lubbit's idea better! (no offense intended Eugene, but those signs we already have where I live. They don't tell you literally that you're heading to a bad traffic jam, but when you read "next exit 2 km" you know you'll be stuck for a while)
Pericles, Jul 23 2003

       So do I, [Pericles]
Eugene, Jul 23 2003

I posted an example, see link.
