This smartphone comes with an angled camera and live video output that does navigational eye-level duty for screen-walker zombies so they no longer walk into eachother, or oncoming traffic. Why we should mercy them with an enabling technology is another question for a more boring site.

Oi! my version <link> got fishboned for being anti-Darwinian! Has the collective moved to a anti selection stance?

Just a typo ... now fixed. We favour the elimination of the unfit, the inattentive, the slow, and the generally unaware.

[Lurch]'s take on this from 07 did pretty well. [link]

DOH! It's already linked to on the first link.

       Half baked already.

There was a baked SMS app several years ago—which I have failed to refind since*—that displayed the video feed from the phone's camera in the background, with the SMS interface transparent on top of it, for this kind of purpose. But it was used on phones with normally oriented cameras.

*Unless I'm only misremembering it as being for SMS, and it's actually the email app [Jinbish] linked on the old idea: [link]
