Skelaghetti
Alphabetti Spaghetti, but with bones instead of letters | |
A can of alphabet pasta in tomato sauce, but with little pasta shapes like bones instead of letters.
Shapes include : Long bones[1], double-bones[2], rib-cage, pelvis, foot, hand and skull.
The pasta shapes are a bit larger than alphabetti shapes, to allow for more detail.
The tomato sauce
is dyed to a deeper ('blood') red.
[1] For humerus and femur
[2] For ulna/radius and tibia/fibula

[+] I remember Heinz did some halloween/spooky type product like this that had skulls at least, I'll see if it's a fake memory or if I can track it down. |

Huh.
A bit of searching suggests Heinz did "spooky pasta shapes" and "hallowbeanz" in 2013, and at least 2 versions of "Haunted House" pasta shapes in 1985. The pasta shapes themselves are not well documented online, but may have been halloween skulls, maybe pumpkins, and what I can't convince myself isn't hello kitty. (edit: False positive - really was "Hello Kitty" pasta)
And they've done "Cream of Beanz Monster Mashup" at some point, which might've had red sauce. |

One year too late to release the giant 18 oz can of Skeleghetti 'Med School' edition, to commemorate the anniversary of Banting and Best's insulin discovery. We can re-release it to honour someones elses, I suppose. |
