Anybody who's ever given their kids rides on their shoulders knows it's one of those magical fun moments you'll never forget. This idea gives the child control of where you go.

The steering wheel attached to your hat has 4 soft foam bars in an X shape that move with the steering column. They turn it right, you get a gentle tap on the right side of your cap, left gently pushes the left side. Same for forward and reverse which adjusts the speed and direction. Pull backwards to stop or slow down, push forward faster when they want you to run. (Which I know from experience it the most popular choice.)

Chin strap keeps it in place.

Put the little ones in control for those magic moments. (link)

I used to have a similar thought about those front-mounted baby pouches. My baby used to grip my fingers as if they were handle bars.

I like that! So you know what I'm talking about. Those are some amazing times, bonding with your kids like that. Always struck by how fun simple stuff like that is when it's about being with your little ones. Plus it's like being a kid again yourself. One minute you're trying to close business deals or looking for a new business location, paying taxes, dealing with business lawyers, (ugh!) suddenly you're having fun doing stuff like playing hopscotch or riding a merry-go-round. The latter being actually fun and making life worthwhile. The former... eh.

May I suggest some sort of visual display to let the parents know what the kids doing. Give them a gas and brake pedal, respond accordingly to their input and they will learn driving by osmosis.

Sure, might be a great add-on.
