Just a prosocial, mutually enjoyable variation of [KDF]'s idea [link].
My first thought was "Shoot lasers from your ice cream"; you could just carry an ice cream around, and it would have a laser, a coneful of batteries in it, and a little quarter sized display on top. It does track your eyes, just
like [KDF]'s invention, but also puts a separate very low energy laser listener on your throat so "subvocalizations" or commands to the laser can be made that are inaudible to others.
So, you subvocalize "funny meme hologram", and the hologram of the funny meme hangs there in the air above the girl you'd like to talk to but are perhaps shy around.
As things proceed you dare to use the "laser carve names in a tree" energy setting, on occasion, it's easier to look at a QR code or object and subvocalize "Bing, look that up!" (your phone then gets the data). Some people might get rid of mosquitos near their face as well.
So as wearable computing and lasers go, it's a toss up between a wadded up napkin (you can carry a wadded up napkin anywhere, for some ice cream, for others a vegieburger), or actual garments:
Shoes: These contain an ultrasonic transducer (or maybe ThZ) that can see what your eyes are pointed at, even though they are through-body; the shoes, or your cargo pants contain 2020 batteries (or better)
Country western, or petite chic belt buckle or Levis Top Button. The levis top button contains 40x bright lasers, and a 360 fisheye lens or better, a plural digital waveguide array. Now everybody knows things look terrible and dim and far off at the edges of a fisheye lens which is why you use the 40x IR night vision strength laser, and the 1 cent alibaba 32 bit CPU to remove distortion from the video. There are several other festive lasers on the button like hologram makers and tree carvers.
If all that research on Ultrasonic vertical body imaging socks worked then your shoes, and maybe or maybe not your belt buckle or pants button can see what your eyes are gazing on. The ultrasonics can easily see you move your tongue on your teeth (keyboard) 3-5mm at a time to type on a 32 location keyboard; if The ultrasonic socks work really well they can see your throat subvocalize.
If you carry a purse you can use .5B Plaid Conductor (RAIC) to sling it on any shoulder, anytime, at a conductive garment and have it be full of batteries that autoconnect to the system.
That brings this idea to sort of the *only new idea content here*, and It could matter:
Lets say you want to stand outside and "pee-angle" a hole in the concrete with the pants-buton laser and drop in a tree seed. The reflecions/retroreflections of that could be dangerous to you or others. Now let's say at first you assume an array of laser dots the size of a period . and extremely powerful, and you put :: that is # that is 121 of them next to each other at a grid. This is no ordinary 121 element array, just like a dot matrix printer each of the dots is activated sequentially (raster, asterisk, etc) and momentarily, but at very high power.
You are turning a big diameter hole drilling laser on just one, very micro-micro-dot on at a time. Then to sort of swab out the tree-planting hole you just rotate the ::-># laser microdot array and the individual little holes they make smear into each other.
If you've got an alibaba 2c 32 bit processor checking the camera 1000-10,000 times a second, you can look at everything in the fisheye lens/waveguide array. To watch you and the people near the tree-planting aperture you are making.
If the CPU sees a stray reflection in a person's eye, a specular dot of any kind at any location, it can turn off the laser. The thing is, this is so fast only a micro-micro-dot 1/121 of laser tissue area contact occurs. The laser accident is 121 times less injurious and probably undetectable. That is much safer than if you had been swabbing away at the concrete with a gigantic O 3-11 mm solid beam all at once.
The 121 times less risky safer scanning micro-micro-dot drilling laser is new to me. All that it requires to be as speedy at drilling a hole as a big O laser is to be 121 times more powerful.
