Shock systems for shark repelling have been floating around the edges of "commercially available" for years, but I won't call "WKTE". Apparently they're not particularly effective...
None of them are like a "launched" taser though. |

Yeah, more like an antenna that you trail off your fin that leaves an electronic field around you while you're diving. I've heard of complaints from other divers when the diver forgot to turn it off back on the boat. Not my cup of tea - I'll take my chances. |

Might be better to just tag the beasts and track them having buoys that set off alarms when one is near. Maybe shine a laser indicator at its location. |
