Ponytails for shoes

Why? Well, don't you think shoes would look better with ponytails hanging down their heels?

Oh. Anyway...

A normal-size shoe might have a small, discreet ponytail, while thigh-length boots would provide the length necessary for longer, lusher locks. The ponytail attaches to the heel with a clip, allowing you to add, remove or change it whenever you wish.

There's no particular reason why the choices should be restricted to ponytails - pigtails and other styles could also work, but ponytails strike me as the most stylish choice for shoe heel hair: elegantly understated, yet eye-catchingly attractive and appealingly quirky.

We recognise that some of you might feel a twinge of worry, concerned that people might stroll past you without glancing back and noticing your novel accessory. (If you dress in cutting-edge fashion in a forest, and nobody sees you, are you still a trend-setter?)

Fear not! We plan to commission leading experts in the field of ponytail physics (see link) to write instructions giving our ponytail-purchasers advice on how to achieve maximum ponytail resonance - walking cadence synchronisation.

       Oh... that kind of shank...

I thought this would be some sort of knife you stuck in your hair.

When I was in high school just last decade someone got into the fashion of sticking split key rings in their boot straps. Does anyone still do that now?
