I thought this was going to be a sandwich for shamans, full of rare and powerful medicinal herbs. |

Baked: late night filling station sandwiches? |

I thought this was going to be a sandwich with very absorbent bread, prepared by an irritating cook with a nasally voice. |

Sweden - "Alcohol could only be served ...only when food was ordered...many places kept a tired, stale sandwich on hand that could be brought to the table as an excuse to get a glass of wine or beer. The sandwich wasn't eaten, but was re-served to other thirsty guests who were more interested in drinking than eating." |

Presumably it's not like that now? |

I don't get this. Alcohol causes an enzymatic change
in the lining of the stomach which means that only
doner kebabs can be safely ingested. I'm pretty sure
that eating any kind of sandwich in this state would
be harmful, possibly fateful. |
