Seebeck Ice Cream

automatic stirring until it's frozen

A simple way to make homemade ice cream. You have a container, with a stirring paddle on the bottom, with walls composed of seebeck effect plating.

After you pour in the unfrozen ingredients, just throw it in the freezer. As the outer walls of the seebeck container get cold, electricity will be generated to move the stirring paddle. It will keep stirring until it's as cold as the freezer, powered by it's own dwindling temperature differential.

Seems to me that freezers should have a standard automatic ice cream maker set right next to the ice maker. The access point on the front door would then have three settings: Crushed, Cubes, and Chocolate.

I agree, making homemade ice cream easier would probably hit a bunch of people in the wasteline. then again, it would not be as bad as softserve dispensers built right into the freezer like Worldgineer is proposing.

[bliss], please use a cone. It's rude to suck straight from the freezer.

Neat, but it wouldn't work with today's devices. Not enough of a temperature differential.
