Security-Janitor
A Janitor that does double duty as security guard. A force against both Dust and Crimes! DustForce! | |
We are all about downsizing right?
Well let's combine the job of janator and security guard
together.
A janitor will clean but at a flip of a name tag can switch
to
being a security staff in an instant. This tag flip will
change
depending on the time of day, and the ratio between
security:janator
needed.
And hey, a janitor is somewhat already equipped to be a
security guard. They already have a walkie-talkie, just
need
to learn the art of broomstick fighting.
DustForce
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dustforce Dustforce is a platform video game developed by Hitbox Team. Within the game, the player controls one of four janitors who are attempting to sweep away a world corrupted with dust and filth. [mofosyne, Jul 23 2014]

Having done both jobs it seems to me that only in certain cases will the result be satisfactory. A janitor cleaning the bathrooms will not quickly notice the cash register leaving the building. A security guard in uniform emptying waste baskets might scare the staff
thinking "he's looking for drugs".
A security guard checking for id can't leave to do other tasks. |

Can you choose an appropriate category? |

Seems like this might work well for someplace that
has guards at night. It might relieve the boredom
for the guards. Maybe they could monitor security
cameras with a wearable display. |

I see 'Janator' and think 'Skeletor.' |
